Intone provides adjustable frequency absorption, the result is a “powerful tool” for controlling specific frequencies and achieving the reference curve specified by the acoustic project.

MAIN CONFIGURATIONS

Intone absorption frequencies range is between 160-2000Hz (≈ α 0,8) for the 100 mm configuration. For increasing the alpha values at high frequencies (e.g. 5000 Hz) fabric finishing is available to widen the absorption curve if needed.

30 – IDEAL FOR SPEECH

30 mm configuration

Intone 30 (20-30mm) is indicated where speech use is the core activity. Main sound absorption is between 400-2000 Hz (≈ α 0,8).

50 – MAXIMUM VERSATILITY

50 mm configuration

Intone 50 (20-50 mm) provide an ample acoustic absorption for a wide range of application. Main sound absorption is between 315-2000 Hz (≈ α 0,8).

70 – IDEAL FOR MED-LOW FREQUENCIES

70 mm configuration

Intone 70 (30-70 mm) is indicated where the acoustic absorption is requested at medium and low frequencies. Main sound absorption is between 250-1250 Hz (≈ α 0,8).

Absorption measurements: reverberation room
The sound absorption coefficient evaluated from reverberation time measurement can have values larger than 1,0 (e.g. because of diffraction effects), and αs is not, therefore, expressed as a percentage.
